Flipsies - Carina's Mini Golf & Check-Up Table Toy Review

Flipsies are 2 in 1 dolls that come in 2 in 1 playsets. Each Flipsies doll has her own unique dream and personality and transforms into a different doll by easily changing her hair color and clothes. The Flipsies playset easily converts into a completely different theme to match the Flipsies character.

Carina' Mini Golf and Check-up Table has Carina as a pediatrician during the day, giving babies their vaccines and checkup and then on the weekend, Carina changes and goes to play miniature golf!

Press the magic button on the Flipsies dolls and they say cute phrases. Put the dolls on the Magic Points on the Flipsies playsets and they say even more phrases that match the playset theme.

Carina talks about being a pediatrician when she's on the Magic Point on the Check-Up Table. She then talks about golf when standing on the miniature golf set.

We have seen these Flipsies dolls and playsets at ToysRUs, Target, and Walmart.

Fisher Price Little People A to Z Learning Zoo Playset

The Fisher Price Little People A to Z Learning Zoo Playset is one of the best Little People sets you can buy from Fisher Price. It comes with 26 animal figures, one for each letter in the alphabet, a zookeeper, car, food cart, two fences, a fun interactive waterfall, cave, swing and a playmat with voice and sound effects. That is 27 figures, a car and other accessories!!

When you press on the playmat for each letter, you will hear the letter, the animal name, and the animal sound. The animals are perfectly sized for small hands to grab and hold and the expressions on each animal is so cute. My kids usually don't play with the playmat but they have endless fun with the animals themselves, taking them places, putting them in buckets, and feeding them.

The animals in this set are not compatible with the newer Little People Zoo Talkers. The animals will not be recognized or activate the sounds in the Zoo Talker set. However, the Learning Zoo comes with 26 animals while the Zoo Talkers come with only 3 animals and you need to purchase the rest separately. I also think the zoo talker animals are more realistic and thus not as cute. What do you think?

Play-Doh My Little Pony Make 'N Style Ponies

After watching cool videos of YouTubers making awesome MLPs, I was super excited to get this set and try it out for myself. This set came with a lot of accessories. 4 pony molds, 1 book mold, 1 accessories mold plate and 9 tubs of play doh. Each of the pony molds also had 2 stamps on the bottom to make cutie marks. Plenty to make lots of little ponies! Although with 4 pony molds, I thought it would've been nice to include a 4th large tub to make 4 ponies at once instead of just 3.

The hardest part for me was filling out the eyes in the mold. It's hard to get that tiny lump of play doh into the exact spot. Especially that spot of white in the middle of the eye. I think next time I might just do the eye after molding the pony.

The hair was also a little tough. The extruder generated very nice stands of hair, but all the segments were connected and I had to cut it to separate them. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

My favorite part of this set is the book mold, there is something satisfying about filling up a mold with lumps of play-doh, close it, squish, and then open to reveal a beautifully formed pony.

I purchased mine from Kohls, but you can get yours at Amazon

Take a look at my ponies and let me know if you want to see me build more!

Hape Stormy Seas Sturmsegler game

This is a fun balancing game for todders and preschoolers, although older kids and adults also find it to be a lot of fun. The pieces are made from bamboo and the perfect size for small hands to grasp.

The idea of the game is to take turns placing pieces on the ship in such a manner that it doesn't tip. The 'loser' is the person who tips the ship with his/her piece.

My kids actually enjoy loading the pieces on the ship and then put something very heavy in order to see it all come crashing down.

I've seen this game at Marbles the Brain Store but purchased mine at Amazon.

Lalaloopsy Gel Sticker Play Set - Bea Spells-a-Lot

This Lalaloopsy Gel Sticker play set features Bea Spells-a-Lot who is the smartest and most well-read girl in Lalaloopsy Land.

The gel sticker set sticks to smooth surfaces like the storage tin it comes with and windows and mirros. It is not sticky so taking it off is super easy and won't leave residue.

Stickers include Bea in two different poses, her pink pet owl, stop signs, trees, apples and other schoolhouse accessories.

The storage tin is also a play scene featuring a school house. Use the stickers to create cute scenes. You can also use stickers from other sets to play and interact with each other characters.

There is another set featuring Crumbs Sugar Cookie that I saw at my local Target, Amazon also sells it but you can't select the set you want.

Check out the video below!
